Hilton Milwaukee City Center’s Chophouse is seeking a dedicated bartender to deliver premier dining experiences in a refined setting. You will set up and stock the bar, greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and present beverages using standard recipes, while maintaining inventory and cash transactions.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending in a fine-dining setting.
• Available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
• Excellent communication and hospitality knowledge.
• Advanced wine, spirit, and beer knowledge; vintages and regions.
• Bartending certificate and TIPS certification required.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Basic math for POS and cash handling.
• Proficient in English for guest interaction.
• Governing liquor regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar daily with beer, wine, spirits and supplies.
• Maintain stock, garnishes, juices, and perishables for quality.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks.
• Understand drink menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation and service.
• Efficiently use POS and manage bar inventory.
• Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and process checks.
• Perform cleaning tasks to meet health standards and glassware upkeep.
• Adhere to liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Assist security or serve in bar area as needed.
