The Brandywine Radnor Hotel is seeking a Head Bartender-Beverage to join our full-time team. You will prepare drinks, manage lounge operations, and ensure guest satisfaction while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience or equivalent.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification per state regulations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally.
• Adherence to policies, safety, and security procedures.
• Clear communication of ideas and information.
• Ability to meet the work schedule and adapt to hours.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Take orders, present menu, answer questions from guests.
• Prepare drinks including wine, liquor, and beer.
• Prepare appetizers and food items per recipes and standards.
• Monitor lounge seating and ensure guests are served.
• Compute bills and balance sales receipts.
• Discontinue alcohol service if needed and notify management.
• Clean bars, work areas, and stock bar and kitchen at shift end.
• Plan and control lounge/bar operations.
• Garnish drinks and arrange displays; inventory weekly.
• Order supplies and maintain logs; ensure quality of foodstuffs.
• Ensure tips are reported for tax; perform other duties as assigned.
