Job summary

Philadelphia Distilling seeks a full-time Bartender to join our tasting room and events team in Philadelphia, PA. After a prep day, you’ll work Thursday through Sunday with some private events and occasional travel for offsite tastings.

You will entertain and educate guests, craft cocktails, and ensure a clean, compliant bar environment. The role emphasizes brand advocacy, guest interaction, and teamwork with the front-of-house staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ craft-cocktail bartender experience.
• RAMP certification within 90 days of hire preferred.
• Strong craft cocktail theory and execution, spirits knowledge.
• Service-oriented mindset with proactive guest assistance.
• Excellent communication with guests and staff.
• Flexible to work nights and weekends, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate POS system.

Responsibilities

• Split time between bar and floor service to ensure guest access to a skilled bartender.
• Provide exceptional guest experiences with brand education and cocktails.
• Develop knowledge of Philadelphia Distilling products and cocktails.
• Execute bartending techniques with accuracy in recipes and presentation.
• Collaborate with front-of-house team to maintain smooth service.
• Assist in creating new seasonal cocktails and specials.
• Maintain health standards, hygiene, and cleanliness; follow regulations.
• Adhere to state liquor laws, including monitoring for minors and intoxicated individuals.
• Participate in training to enhance brand advocacy and product knowledge.
• Report to Bar Manager.
