Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide in the United States is seeking a Lead Bartender to deliver guest experiences and events, ensuring high standards and safety. You will greet guests, prepare drinks per recipes, and train new team members while maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar.

This full-time role requires weekend/holiday availability, adherence to responsible serving, and collaboration with other departments to provide exceptional service and memorable vacations.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending or guest service is preferred.
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly and follow recipes.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with guests, takes orders, delivers drinks and ensures guest satisfaction.
• Ensures alcohol is served responsibly by adhering to limits and portion controls.
• Prepares drink orders according to recipes using measuring systems.
• Verifies guests meet minimum age requirements before serving alcohol.
• Maintains cleanliness of bar, work areas and tools throughout the day.
• Assists other departments to ensure optimal guest service.
• Supports training of new associates and hourly tasks as needed.

As a Lead Bartender , a typical day will include:

• Greets and interacts with guests, answers questions , takes orders, delivers drinks, and ensures guest satisfaction.
• Ensure alcohol is served responsibly by adhering to service limits and portion control processes.
• Prepares drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Validate that all guests meet the minimum age to be served alcohol prior to serving.
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Maintains cleanliness and condition of the bar (CO2 lines, soda tanks, soda guns, drain, etc.), tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines.
• Assists management with training new associates and hourly responsibilities if necessary.

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Lead Bartender at AAH :

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .

Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance .

Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
