Job summary

Dartcor Hospitality's Final Whistle in Newark, NJ is seeking a Lead Bartender to join our high-energy pop-up sports bar team. This hourly position pays $25.00 per hour plus tips and focuses on crafting great cocktails, beer and wine, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will manage bartending duties, assist guests with recommendations, maintain bar cleanliness, monitor stock, handle cash, and collaborate with the team while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven bartending experience with solid knowledge of classic cocktails, wine and local beers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Attention to detail to follow drink recipes and ensure quality.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy hours.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift boxes behind the bar.
• Teamwork and flexibility to adapt to guest requests promptly.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Lead Bartender to join our team. This is an hourly position offering a competitive wage of $25.00 per hour + tips. The ideal candidate will have solid bartending experience, a passion for mixology, and a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, local beers, and wines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bartending:?Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring each drink meets our quality standards.
• Customer Service:?Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations, and ensure that each guest enjoys an exceptional experience at the bar.
• Cocktail Knowledge:?Demonstrate a strong understanding of classic cocktail recipes and be able to create and customize drinks based on guest preferences.
• Knowledge of Beer & Wine:?Provide guests with recommendations on local beers and wines, ensuring they have a variety of options based on their tastes.
• Bar Maintenance:?Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift. Ensure that all glassware, tools, and supplies are in working order.
• Inventory Management:?Monitor stock levels and communicate with management to ensure that the bar is adequately stocked for daily operations.
• Cash Handling:?Accurately process customer payments and manage the till during your shift.
• Team Collaboration:?Work closely with other team members to ensure the bar runs smoothly and that guest needs are met quickly and effectively.
• Health & Safety Compliance:?Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and sanitation protocols.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:
