Dartcor Hospitality is opening The Final Whistle, a high-energy pop-up sports bar in Newark. We are seeking a bartender with a passion for mixology, knowledge of cocktails, wine and local beers, and strong guest-focused service. This hourly role offers $16.05 per hour plus tips and opportunities to work in a dynamic team.

Ideal candidates will have experience in fast-paced bars, excellent communication, and the ability to handle busy periods while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven bartending experience with solid knowledge of cocktails, wine and local beers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and professionally.
• Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations and ensure a great bar experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wines and customize drinks per guest preferences.
• Keep bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked during shifts.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with management to ensure bar is fully stocked.
• Process customer payments and manage the till accurately.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth bar operations.
• Follow health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
