Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Lead Barista at Salish Lodge & Spa to craft hot and cold beverages and train teammates in beverage preparation.

You will greet guests, take orders, operate espresso machines, and maintain a spotless station, while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate has cafe or F&B experience, a barista certification preferred, and strong multitasking and hospitality skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe/coffee or food & beverage required.
• Barista certification preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage presentation a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standards.
• Greet guests, take orders, and provide product recommendations.
• Operate coffee and espresso machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and monitor inventory/pars.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately; open/close registers as needed.
