Job summary

Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie, WA, is seeking a Barista to craft high-quality beverages and provide exceptional guest service at our iconic resort.

Qualifications

  • Barista certification or formal coffee training preferred.
  • Clear, professional communication with guests and team members.
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation is a plus.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order taking and cash handling.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
  • Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide product recommendations.
  • Operate coffee and espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including beverage stations, counters, and dining areas.
  • Handle cash, credit, and digital payment transactions accurately.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Restock coffee bar and serving stations with necessary amenities (lids, straws, napkins, etc.).
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • May assist with training new team members and supporting co-workers during peak periods.
  • Address guest questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally.

What You Bring
