Job Title: Lead AWS Engineer

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead AWS Engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team working on high-demand applications, emphasizing high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop MVP User Stories (Reusable components, APIs, UI, mock stubs)
• Support backlog creation, prioritization, and story mapping
• Assist in technical design and solutioning
• Work across tiers: UI development, APIs, databases
• Utilize DevOps CI/CD pipelines, create and configure build/deploy jobs
• Apply XP practices, pair programming, and TDD
• Deliver assigned tasks with quality and share knowledge through pairing
• Mentor team members and troubleshoot issues
• Communicate effectively with team and leadership
