Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

One of our clients is a large organization with a strong presence throughout Connecticut. They pride themselves on delivering accessible, affordable, and high-quality solutions to the communities they serve. They are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable data solutions in a cloud-native environment. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and optimize ETL processes, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation.
• Leverage Python, SQL, and/or Java to develop high-performance data solutions.
• Define and implement data modeling strategies to support analytics and business intelligence.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in data software development focusing on cloud-native architectures (GCP required).
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and/or Java for data processing and automation.
• Proven experience in data architecture, ETL design, and data modeling.
• Strong background in building scalable data pipelines.
