Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics PCB Layout Engineer to design and lay out high-performance PCBs for aerospace applications. You will work with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams to ensure designs meet stringent standards and are documented thoroughly.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of PCB layout experience in aerospace/defense and strong knowledge of high-speed, mixed-signal design. Proficiency in Altium and Allegro is essential; IPC Class 3 familiarity is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of PCB layout experience in aerospace/defense.
• Strong digital/analog/mixed-signal and high-speed design understanding.
• Experience with Altium, Allegro, Eagle, Proteus; IPC-6012 Class 3 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout high-performance, reliable aerospace PCBs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet requirements.
• Create schematics and layouts using industry tools; maintain docs.
• Provide mentoring on Altium best practices and layout standards.
• Support PCB layout reviews with DFM/DFT input and library upkeep.
