Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an Avionics PCB Layout Engineer to contribute to aerospace-grade board design.

You will apply deep expertise in digital, analog, mixed-signal, high-speed, RF and high-power PCB layout to support avionics circuit designs and mission hardware across development and production Join a diverse, safety-focused team that collaborates with mechanical, electrical, firmware and software engineers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in PCB layout and design in aerospace/defense.
• Strong digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed layout knowledge.
• Experience with Altium Designer and other leading CAD tools.
• IPC Class 3 familiarity and high-speed impedance control.
• Ability to create schematics and layout designs with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout high-performance, high-reliability PCBs for aerospace.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams.
• Use Altium Designer to create detailed schematics and layouts.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for PCB layout and design.
• Troubleshoot PCB design/layout issues and mentor others.
• Contribute to PCB development processes and design reviews.
