Job summary

Best Buy's Geek Squad AutoTech Agents install and support automotive electronics, from complex in-dash units to standard car tech, following established guidelines. You’ll troubleshoot, advise customers, and ensure compatibility with various vehicle models.

As a Level 2 Autotech Agent, you’ll apply technical skills and customer-first thinking to installation, troubleshooting, and support, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in automotive electronics and installations.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive tech issues.
• Strong customer-facing communication and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install complex car electronics including hardwired remote starts and advanced dash units.
• Install standard car electronics such as remote starts, speakers, dash cameras and backup cameras.
• Identify compatibility issues and communicate them before installation.
• Troubleshoot automotive electronic solutions using established guidelines.
