Job summary

Best Buy in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Car Electronics Installer (Autotech Agent) to install new technology into customers’ vehicles in-store. You will share product recommendations and best practices with customers and staff, and pursue certifications to perform at an expert level.

The role offers opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2 with trainings provided to ensure you meet Best Buy standards and grow within the Autotech team. A passion for cars and technology is valued.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• A driving record that meets safety standards is expected.
• Experience installing car electronics is preferred.
• Retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics such as remote starts, stereos, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in-dash units.
• Use installation guides to select compatible products and complete projects.
• Verify vehicle make and model and flag compatibility concerns before installation.
• Provide high level customer service.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
