Job summary

Hadrian is building autonomous factories and a data-driven manufacturing platform. The Senior Engineering Manager will lead the Data Platform team, owning the path from machines and operational systems to trusted data and interfaces used by scheduling, analytics, ML, and factory operations.

You will drive architecture discussions, set standards, and grow engineers into technical leaders while delivering reliable data infrastructure at scale across multiple factories.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading production data infrastructure or platform teams.
• Strong judgment on distributed systems, event streaming, data modeling and governance.
• Ability to operate in security-sensitive or regulated environments such as aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Data Platform team responsible for data backbone from machines to trusted datasets.
• Own the Data Platform roadmap with cross-functional stakeholders across software, analytics, and operations.
• Raise the operational bar for reliability, data quality, observability, and cost management.
• Partner with senior engineers on architecture across CDC, streaming, and interfaces to consumers.
• Turn recurring work into scalable standards, tooling, and migration paths.
• Hire and grow a high-performing team with clear ownership and feedback.
