Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Texas seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role requires ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years, a valid driver’s license, and strong diagnostics in brakes, alignment and tire repair. Paid training and a flat-rate pay model are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment/steering/suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company; bonus for tests passed.
