Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to use leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include explaining repairs to customers, staying current with technology through paid training, and pursuing ASE certifications. Competitive pay with a focus on quality and efficiency is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Experience diagnosing brakes, alignment, and suspension.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within 2 years.
• Strong ability to explain technical information to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computers).
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to customers who are not mechanically knowledgeable.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and mentor technicians in performing technical tasks.
• Pursue ASE certifications; company covers test fees.
