Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to lead a team toward higher customer satisfaction. The role requires ASE certifications and a strong foundation in brakes, alignment, and suspension.

Responsibilities include explaining repairs to customers, maintaining knowledge of evolving automotive tech, and mentoring junior technicians. The position emphasizes safety and quality service at a Bridgestone location.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years; tests and fees paid by company.
• Valid driver’s license required at all times to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications (brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical).
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers in non-technical terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical tasks; mentor teammates.
