Job summary

Grease Monkey in Woodstock, GA is seeking an Automotive Technician A with strong mechanical knowledge. You will perform services such as brakes, rotors, fluid exchanges, oil changes, and more, while communicating with customers about preventive maintenance.

You will also be involved in training junior technicians and ensuring work quality. We offer an hourly pay rate plus a standard commission across the company, with opportunities for advancement and routine shop duties to keep vehicles safe

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine tickets, notes and other correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Work on more complex repairs and diagnostics, including transmissions and engine overhauls.
• Helps in training of Technicians B and C team members.
• Diagnoses vehicle problems and performs repairs based on customer complaints and inspections.
• Documents all work performed and requested. Road tests vehicles as needed.
