Qualifications

• Five or more years of automotive technician experience.

• Valid Driver's License and ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per supervisor direction and factory standards.
• Works on complex repairs and diagnostics beyond Tech B or C, including transmissions, heavy-line repairs and engine overhauls.
• Helps train Technicians B and/or Technician C.
• Repairs knowledge areas such as Brakes, A/C, Transmissions, Power Steering and Suspension; diagnoses vehicles from customer complaints and inspections.
• Examines vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and communicates with customers; road tests vehicles as needed.
