Job summary

Grease-Monkey in Cumming, GA is hiring an automotive Technician C. You diagnose problems, perform brakes, rotors, oil changes, transmissions and other services per repair orders, and educate customers on preventive maintenance.

You will be paid an hourly rate plus a standard company commission, work with supervisory direction, and test drive vehicles as needed while keeping the shop safe and organized.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance procedures.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• State Emission Certification - if applicable in your state.
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification - if applicable in your state.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection.
• Performs repairs and services as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Road tests vehicles as needed and documents all work performed.
• Keeps shop areas neat, clean and organized; maintains tools and manuals.
• Throws light on safety issues and adheres to company guidelines and OSHA standards.
