Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks a Systems Requirements Engineer to define, manage, validate, and maintain system requirements across the product lifecycle in automotive programs. You will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ECU-based platforms.

The role demands experience in requirements engineering, traceability, functional safety, and model-based design tools, with strong exposure to ASPICE and ISO 26262 lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Capture business, customer, and stakeholder needs and translate them into clear, testable system and software requirements.
• Define, manage, and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from customer requirements through design, implementation, verification, and validation.
• Lead system requirements development, impact analysis, change management, and configuration control activities.
• Support system architecture, integration, verification, and validation efforts across automotive platforms and ECU-based systems.
• Author and review system requirements, verification criteria, test plans, and validation documentation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, validation, and functional safety teams to ensure requirements alignment and successful product delivery.
• Support ASPICE-compliant development processes and ISO 26262 Functional Safety activities, including ASIL-related requirements.
• Perform system integration testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis using HIL/SIL environments.
• Manage requirements within tools such as DOORS, Jama, Jira, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, and related systems engineering platforms.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities and requirements lifecycle management.
