Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Mossville, IL is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Systems/Requirements Engineer to own system and software requirements and ensure end-to-end traceability.

You will support HIL/SIL testing, system integration, verification, and validation while collaborating with Systems, Software, Hardware, Validation, and Functional Safety teams. Experience with DOORS/Jama/Jira is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Automotive Systems/Requirements Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with HIL/SIL, ECU validation, CAN, Ethernet, and diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with DOORS/DOORS DNG or Jama.
• Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, ASIL, UML/SysML.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and validate system/software requirements and end-to-end traceability.
• Support HIL/SIL testing, system integration, verification, and validation.
• Perform requirements analysis, change management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Hardware, Validation, and Functional Safety teams.
• Maintain requirements using IBM DOORS/DOORS DNG, Jama, Jira, or similar tools.
• Support ASPICE and ISO 26262/Functional Safety processes.
