Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Lead Platform Software V&V Engineer to architect and drive safety, performance, and reliability strategies for automotive ECUs. You will lead hands-on bench testing on microcontrollers, validate RTD, STM, and automotive Ethernet chipsets, and guide post-silicon validation activities.

You will own end-to-end test methodologies compliant with ISO 26262 ASIL requirements, build automated Python-based test frameworks, and contribute target-side code in C/C++ or Rust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience leading cross-site validation and test initiatives.
• Strong background in embedded systems and automotive safety.
• Proficiency with Python for test automation and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Define validation and verification roadmap for post-silicon bench tests and HIL environments.
• Mentor offshore and distributed validation teams across regional US offices.
• Coordinate cross-site execution to ensure consistent test artifacts and delivery.
• Interface with Systems, Silicon, Firmware, and Safety teams to align with HSI definitions.
