Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California is seeking a Store Manager to lead service, parts and fleet sales, while ensuring superior customer service and in-store program execution. You will drive shop productivity, recruit and develop teams, and provide inspirational leadership across service selling and back shop operations.

You will also oversee safety, compliance, POS transactions, inventory, and vendor relationships, ensuring a top-tier customer experience and achievement of sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 1 year experience in service/retail environment preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and manage a team of associates; supervise and appraise work.
• Ensure store productivity and profitability; monitor back shop operations.
• Coach staff on Customer Care Process and CVIs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop store staff.
• Maintain compliance with policies, safety, and environmental codes.
• Oversee opening/closing responsibilities and cash handling.
