Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California is seeking a Store Manager to lead service selling and back shop teams, drive store productivity, and deliver superior customer service. You will recruit, develop, and inspire the staff, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include directing a team, maintaining staffing levels, and coaching on service processes while ensuring excellent customer experiences and adherence to POS and cash

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in automotive service environment.
• Completion of a two-year college, technical program, or 1–3 years of service industry experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Basic mathematical concepts for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and evaluate direct and indirect reports while adhering to policies and safety codes.
• Recruit, hire, and develop store talent to sustain service levels.
• Oversee store productivity, profitability, and back shop operations.
• Train associates on Customer Care Process and CVIs.
• Ensure proper cash handling and POS transaction procedures.
• Maintain stock integrity and vendor payment practices.
