Job summary

Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. seeks a Project Delivery Manager to own the automation scope for large-scale data centers, leading design to execution. You will oversee PLC/SCADA, SIS, IT/OT, and I&C aspects, with a team of automation engineers and close client engagement.

You will guide project schedules, budgets, risk management, and vendor coordination, while traveling to client sites as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on large-scale capital projects, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Experience with various automation platforms (PLC, SCADA, building automation etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of automation and hardware engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of aspects of the automation scope of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Support the development of project schedules with milestones and key predecessors/successors across all disciplines.
• Drive development of resource plans and loading curves according to project schedules.
• Develop scope estimates and budgets and track consumption and variances with project controls.
• Advise customers on technology selection and project execution strategy to align with critical success factors.
• Maintain risk logs and draft mitigation strategies; escalate issues as needed.
• Resolve complex technical issues across disciplines, scopes & vendors.
• Act as Owner’s Agent to ensure vendor deliverables meet client requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with services.
