Job summary

STULZ USA is seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer to lead the equipment buildout of our new Texas Plant — a brownfield plant launch. You will own the setup, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of all automated production equipment, including sheet metal fabrication, pipe forming, and the electrical panel shop, from site prep through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.

The role drives the plant's digitalization roadmap, leading the MES implementation and connecting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
5+ years hands-on experience with automated equipment installation and maintenance.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment and automated material handling.
Familiarity with PLC, HMIs, servo/motion systems, and robotics.
CMMS experience and OEM/Supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

Lead setup, installation, and commissioning of plant equipment for Plant 2 launch.
Conduct FAT/SAT and production runoff with OEMs before manufacturing release.
Define site modifications for power, air, ventilation, and foundations.
Develop preventive maintenance programs and CMMS documentation.
Drive MES implementation and plant digitalization initiatives.
