Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Experience guiding technology stack decisions and virtualization/network architecture.
• Proficiency in DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens or Ignition; familiar with others.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the overarching strategy and architecture for all automation projects.
• Direct the logic configuration standards and best practices for all PLC/DCS systems.
• Evaluate and select next generation HMI/SCADA platforms and set the global vision for operator experience.
• Act as the ultimate technical authority on system integration and OPC networks/virtualization decisions.
• Establish company standards for process monitoring, lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
• Establish organizational standards for engineering documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Define and approve company-wide validation frameworks and ensure project portfolio compliance.
• Oversee FAT and SAT methodologies to meet high quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales to define proposal strategies and present technical solutions.
• Coach and lead the engineering team, driving best practices.
