Job summary

e Solutions is seeking a senior Automation Engineer to drive architecture, reviews, and release-readiness for complex industrial systems in our Indianapolis-area operations.

You will define standard automation architectures, PLC and HMI standards, and industrial-networking practices, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, testable platforms. A decade-plus of hands-on experience with regulated equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls/Automation related field.
• 10+ years of progressive controls and automation experience.
• Experience with regulated, validated equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define standard automation architectures for multiple product platforms.
• Establish PLC programming standards and reusable libraries.
• Set HMI standards for navigation, alarms, trends, and guidance.
• Define industrial network architecture and data exchange practices.
• Lead design reviews ensuring testable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Lead troubleshooting, commissioning, and root-cause investigations.
