Job summary

Stellaro Technologies LLC seeks a highly technical Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automation systems. This role drives independent execution of standard engineering packages while collaborating across project teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on project delivery experience and proficiency in at least one major DCS/PLC platform, with the confidence to engage clients as a subject-matter expert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.
• Hands-on experience with at least one core platform and virtualization.
• Proficiency across multiple platforms (DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition, PI, OPC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation architectures with moderate autonomy.
• Configure and optimize PLC/DCS logic and controller configurations.
• Design and deploy HMI/SCADA graphics and interfaces for operator usability.
• Integrate third-party skids/equipment into central control systems using OPC and virtualization.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot complex control issues, and drive upgrades for reliability.
• Create and review P&IDs, loop diagrams, and network topology drawings.
• Author and execute validation documents in line with project requirements.
• Execute FAT and SAT, documenting all results thoroughly.
• Contribute technical content to proposals and participate in sales calls.
• Provide informal guidance to Level I engineers.
