Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a service team. This role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range reflecting flat-rate compensation for skilled technicians.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, electrical, and HVAC systems, and staying up-to-date through formal training. ASE certifications within two years are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis and repair.
• Skilled in alignment/suspension diagnosis and repair.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• ASE certifications or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years.
