Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician in Boise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward enhanced customer care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering/suspension/alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical people.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in non-technical terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; test fees paid by Bridgestone; bonus for tests passed.
