Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical issues, mentor a team, and drive customer care and satisfaction in a fast-paced auto service environment.

You will diagnose brake and hydraulic systems, alignments, electrical problems, and A/C, while continually updating skills through employer-paid training and ASE certifications. A strong customer-focused communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Maintain up-to-date automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, electrical, exhaust, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
