Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking a Master Technician to lead a diagnostic team and deliver top-tier customer service. You’ll diagnose drivability, A/C and electrical issues, mentor colleagues, and communicate repairs clearly to customers. The role requires leadership, extensive ASE credentials, and flexibility to work varied shifts.

You will help train staff, maintain shop standards and support store management while adhering to safety policies and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 8+ ASE certifications preferred (A1–A8).
• Section 609 Certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, air conditioning and electrical systems.
• Perform duties of Technician A/B/Mechanic/General Service Technician as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff clearly.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive tech through training.
• Assist fellow technicians and keep management informed of issues.
• Maintain an organized, safe shop and comply with policies.
