Job summary

Pep Boys in Burbank, CA seeks a Master Technician with solid experience diagnosing drivability, air conditioning and electrical systems. You will lead and mentor a shop team to deliver high-quality customer care and satisfaction.

You will interact with customers, explain diagnoses and proposed repairs, and stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training. A proactive, team-first attitude and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• ASE certifications preferred (A1–A8).
• Section 609 Certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension and AC.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Continuously learn new technical information in formal training sessions.
• Assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities.
• Maintain an organized shop and adhere to safety rules.
