Job summary

Crash Champions in the United States is seeking a skilled auto body technician. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and work with teammates to complete quality fixes on schedule.

The role requires frame machine operation, body repair certification, and knowledge of repair processes. You may supervise apprentices and participate in safety meetings; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with frame machines and repair procedures.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification and training.
• Ability to analyze measuring data and interpret results.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel on jobs.
• Capable of passing a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process efficiently.
• Coordinates with team on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time progress.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and trim to access vehicles and fenders.
• Attends all required safety meetings and trainings.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures as needed.
