Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to inspect damaged vehicles, plan and perform repairs, and ensure quality work on time. The role involves coordinating with the team, guiding an apprentice, and upholding safety standards across repairs.

Requirements include frame machine operation, knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, and an I-CAR welding certification. The role offers competitive benefits and a commission/flag pay structure with guaranteed minimums.

Qualifications

• Certifications in body repair preferred and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.
• I-CAR welding certification and frame machine experience.
• Ability to supervise technicians and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with teammates on repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical components, and trim to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings and adheres to guidelines.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and demonstrates procedures.
