Withum in the United States seeks an Audit Supervisor to lead engagements from planning through completion, mentoring staff and coordinating with clients. The role emphasizes strong technical skills, US GAAP proficiency, and delivering exceptional service.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license or active pursuit with parts passed.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience, including leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with solid written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of audit engagements including staffing, planning, risk assessment and reporting.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to staff, seniors and supervisors, and coordinate with engagement partners.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on issue resolution and recommendations on regulatory and accounting matters.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines and budgets.
• Travel as needed and participate in professional development activities.
