Withum in Houston, TX seeks an Audit Supervisor to lead engagements from planning through completion, supervising staff and building strong client relationships.

You will guide engagement teams, oversee staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting while mentoring staff and collaborating with partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license or working towards CPA with parts passed.
• 3+ years public accounting experience with leadership on engagements.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication; ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills; travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement team on audits, reviews or compilations to provide world-class client service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, reporting and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and support to staff and promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on issue resolution and accounting/regulatory guidance.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and discuss performance with team members.
• Participate in professional development as instructor or discussion leader.
