Job summary

Withum's Audit and Attest Engagement services form the cornerstone of our firm, providing audit services, reviews, compilations, and other procedures to a variety of client sizes and industries. This Audit Supervisor role is based out of Houston, TX, and will lead engagements from planning to completion while mentoring staff.

You will collaborate with partners and seniors to resolve client issues, manage multiple engagements, and contribute to a robust client service culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license preferred or in progress; parts passed acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and promote open communication with engagement partner.
• Collaborate on client issue resolution and advise on legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
• Manage multiple engagements with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and discuss performance with the team.
• Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
