Job summary

Cognito Systems, a joint venture with Planned Systems International (PSI), seeks a Lead Athletic Trainer for the Army H2F program at Ft. Wainwright, AK. This role leads AT services, injury prevention, and performance optimization for Soldiers in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

Join a multidisciplinary team that has driven improvements in ACFT pass rates and musculoskeletal outcomes. You will coordinate with brigade leadership, deliver education, and ensure timely reporting and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in athletic training or related field.
• CAATE-accredited program and BOC certification.
• Unrestricted state license/registration in any US jurisdiction.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Brigade Lead Athletic Trainer and advisor on injury control and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with Brigade H2F team to support training programs for Soldiers.
• Ensure AT scope is aligned with brigade training calendar and available hours.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Status Reports and meetings with Brigade leadership.
• Lead documentation, peer reviews, and compliance with AT practices.
