Job summary

Cognito Systems is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support the Army's H2F program at Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, AK. This on-site role involves collaboration with a diverse health-team to improve soldier readiness and performance through prevention, injury care, and rehabilitation.

The position requires CAATE-accredited education, BOC certification, in-state licensure on onboarding, and US citizenship. Expect a dynamic, on-site schedule with a focus on evidence-based performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from CAATE-accredited program.
• BOC certification and in-state licensure on onboarding.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (PTs, strength coaches, dietitians, cognitive performance experts, occupational therapists).
• Deliver prevention-focused care, acute injury management, and rehab for musculoskeletal injuries.
• Address five H2F readiness domains: physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, spiritual.
