Job summary

Cognito Systems, a Mentor‑Protégé Joint Venture, is seeking a Lead Athletic Trainer to join the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, near Fayetteville. You will serve as Brigade Lead AT and primary advisor on injury control, performance optimization, and rehabilitation for Soldiers.

Qualifications

• Degree: CAATE accredited Bachelor's and a CAATE-related Master's degree.
• BOC certification and NPI are required.
• U.S. Citizenship and unrestricted state licensure in applicable states.
• Five years of relevant athletic training experience with active populations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Brigade Lead Athletic Trainer and principal advisor on acute care, injury control, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with Brigade H2F teams to support training programs for Soldiers with and without physical limitations.
• Ensure AT scope aligns with Brigade training calendar and provide education to Soldiers and leadership.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Status Reports with recommendations and lessons learned.
• Attend Brigade leadership meetings and coordinate with medical personnel as requested.
