Job summary

The Rinks Foundation in Irvine, CA is seeking a Lead Associate to supervise part-time staff and oversee daily operations in a busy venue. You will ensure guest satisfaction and safety while coordinating programs, events, and daily activities with a focus on teamwork and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• One or more years of management experience with the ability to delegate responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Rink experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties to Associates to meet daily facility needs.
• Oversee Associates to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Coach, counsel and discipline Associates per policies.
• Promote company values and vision at all times.
• Provide quality customer service to guests and staff.
• Attend weekly/biweekly Lead meetings and Power Play sessions.
• Assist with daily execution of park/programs and communicate information accurately.
• Resolve operations issues (Ticketing, Reservations & Enrollment) efficiently.
• Delegate setup/teardown of signage and displays where applicable.
• Assist with special events and programs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow emergency procedures.
• Assist in ice maintenance and operate rink equipment as needed.
