Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with operating an ice resurfacing machine and related rink equipment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with guests.
• Experience supervising seasonal staff and coordinating scheduling.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and enforce rink rules.
• Ability to learn mechanical systems and operate basic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ice rink conditions and surrounding facilities during operating days.
• Operate Zamboni and ensure ice is safe and ready for public use and events.
• Maintain clean and safe rink area, report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding of seasonal staff and create staff schedules.
• Supervise 2–4 seasonal employees handling guest services, skate rentals, and rink ops.
• Coordinate with Long Center teams and vendors to enhance guest experiences and events.
