Job summary

Reeves Young LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time, on-site Construction Manager to support the Superintendent with supervision of all on-site construction activities and coordination of field employees, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule.

You will maintain daily progress reporting, participate in project team and trade meetings, manage permits and inspections, and help ensure safety and timely delivery of the project.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand project documents including drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and owner agreements.
• Must understand project scheduling and cost control.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies in plans.
• May perform physical activities such as lifting, climbing, walking and handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent by assisting in supervising all on-site construction.
• Supervise and coordinate field employees, subcontractors and vendors to expedite the project schedule.
• Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork (daily reports with photos, payroll and equipment time, field reports, schedule updates, emails).
• Participate in project team and trade contractor meetings regarding schedule, safety, cleanliness and manpower needs.
• Manage the permit and inspection process and attend or conduct regular progress meetings.
