Job summary

Reeves Young seeks a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager in Nashville to oversee multiple construction projects end-to-end, aligning scope, schedule, and budget with owner requirements and the company’s “Super Six” standards.

You will craft procurement strategies, coordinate with engineers, architects and vendors, track long-lead items, and mentor junior staff while reporting progress to on-site senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects end-to-end.
• Strong written and oral communications with stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, architects and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient and perform all roles and responsibilities of a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager while managing multiple projects.
• Develop and implement procurement/buyout strategies and maintain a Buyout Log.
• Review project scope, drawings, specs, estimates, schedules and codes to plan and coordinate construction activities.
• Identify long-lead items and maintain schedule baselines with weekly team updates.
• Develop a project business plan to maximize efficiency and fee opportunities.
• Monitor progress with supervisors to ensure productivity and safety compliance.
