Job summary

Reeves Young in Nashville, TN is seeking a Construction Supervisor to manage designated field activities and provide general supervision of all phases of construction at the jobsite. You will oversee the permit and inspection process, maintain daily progress reporting, and protect the company brand on a rapidly growing team.

The role requires reading drawings, specs, RFIs and relevant contracts, leading crews and subcontractors, and collaborating with Project Management to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams on construction sites.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, RFIs and submittals.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety standards.
• Strong scheduling and cost control abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving on active projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field activities of field employees, subcontractors and material vendors to support project schedule, safety, cleanliness and quality.
• Lead crew morale and attitude on the jobsite.
• Read and interpret project documents (drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, contracts).
• Collaborate with Project Management to develop detailed project schedules and sequencing.
• Ensure all permits and inspections are conducted timely and in accordance with requirements.
• Maintain thorough daily progress reporting and related paperwork.
