Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior test engineer to review product designs and develop automated test solutions for aerospace electronics. This onsite role requires a STEM degree and extensive experience in production test development.

You will lead projects, coach junior engineers, and ensure schedules and budgets are met, while applying C/C++/C#/Python skills. DoD clearance eligibility is required, and the position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance.
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Prior test engineering experience.
• 3+ years in designing/developing complex electronics for aerospace.
• Expert knowledge of C/C++/C#, Python.

Responsibilities

• Review product designs and create automated test solutions with maximum coverage for top level, sub-level, and circuit card assemblies.
• Capture, analyze, decompose and translate requirements for production test solutions.
• Design, test, integrate and document production test solutions of moderate to high complexity.
• Lead assigned projects to achieve quality solutions under moderate or indirect supervision.
• Coach and train junior team members.
• Ensure adherence to defined processes, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Prepare and present project/technical information to peers, management and customers.
• Design and implement activities to deploy test solutions worldwide.
